Award winning artist and teacher Elaine Smith has taught all mediums to students from ages 5 - 85  for over a quarter of a century. Relying on right brain teaching approaches, she has guided hundreds of students through the creative process, which she believes is everyone’s heritage.  During the many years Elaine has been teaching at the Around the Corner Art Center she has repeatedly demonstrated that, "Everyone, when shown the proper techniques, has the ability to create drawings and paintings".  Every year Elaine helps at least one teenager develop a Portfolio and earn an Art Scholarship.  Her students have gone on to such schools as the Red Bank HS. Art Program, Rhode Island School of Design, University of Arizona, and the University of the Arts, Philadelphia.

Come Draw with Elaine - Tuesdays 6:30 to 8:00, Wednesdays 4:45 to 6:15, Thursdays 4:45 to 6:15, Saturdays 10:00 to 11:30, Saturdays 12:00 to 1:30

Drawing and Watercolor - Thursdays 10:00 to 11:45
