FREE TRIAL CLASS –NEW STUDENTS ONLY!!

October 30^th (Thursday) 6:30-8:00    Ages 8-14   (Instructor: Mark Kolessar)

During this trial class, students will complete an acrylic painting of Koi Fish in a pond. Students will follow instructor Mark Kolessar in a step-by-step hands on workshop that demonstrates how to properly use and mix acrylic paint. Students will leave with a completed acrylic painting suitable for framing and display.

November 2th (Sunday) 1:00-2:30   Ages 8-Adults  (Instructor: Guy Dorian)

Come explore the world of fine art and its influence in comic books, anime, manga, cartoons, magazines and books. Guy Dorian will demonstrate and help you explore these fundamentals.

November 9^th (Sunday) 12:00-3:00   Ages 8-15    (Instructor: Elaine Smith)

Come draw with Elaine, and give your child a boost of self esteem with creativity.  Your child will use the right brain techniques to create an accurate pencil drawing while having fun at the same time.

November 10^th (Monday) 5:00-6:00 Ages 5-7 1/2 (Instructor: Barbara Duchnowski)

Create art based on artists from around the world. Have lots of fun learning the basics of using paint, clay, watercolor and colored pencils, while learning about different cultures along with art history. Join us for a class, while we explore the Japanese art of black ink printing and create our own tiger paintings.

November 12^th (Wednesday) 4:30-6:00 Ages 8-12 (Instructor: Ed Chapman)

Students will work with ceramic clay sculpting a 3-D fish. Ed Chapman will assist the students in different clay techniques. Your child’s fish sculpture will need to be fired in our kiln.  Students will pick up completed fish one week later.

November 15^th (Saturday) 1:00-2:30 Ages 5-7 ½ (Instructor: Ann Marie Fitzsimmons)

Come join in the fun and find out how masterpieces are created. In this class your “Little Picassos” will complete a painting on artists’ canvas using acrylic paints and glazes. Fine art instructor Ann Marie Fitzsimmons, will guide your child through every step to create an artwork that they will be proud of for years to come.
