Here at Around the Corner, we have been hosting children's birthday parties for over 20 years. Our experienced staff will guide the children in creating their very own masterpieces that they will be proud to take home and put on display. Pottery Party

Choose a piece of pottery priced at $16 or less from one of our designated shelves. Use our paint, supplies, guidance and your imagination to create your own masterpiece! Parties of 10 or more receive a free commemorative birthday plate as a keepsake.

Anime/Cartooning Party
Our Instructor will show you the secrets to creating cartoon characters. Choose from your favorites, such as, Mario, Batman, Spiderman, Naruto, Avatar, Pokemon, the Simpsons and more! You pick the subject, and we will show you how it is done!

Painting Party

Paint an original masterpiece! Pick the subject you love best - we'll do the rest. Your instructor will show you and your guests how to paint like the masters, and you will go home with a work of art suitable for framing. Drawing Party
Select a subject to draw (animals, cars, landscapes, flowers, etc.), and with your teacher's step-by-step instruction, everyone will draw an image suitable for framing! We have a few samples below, but you can really choose any subject you want!! Learn pencil, colored pencil, or pastel techniques as you create your masterpiece!

Fashion Design Party
Your "super star" designer and all of her friends will be treated to a fabulous fashion design lesson! Everyone will have a blast drawing a figure and designing her outfit to create a stylish fashion sketch of their own!

Sculpting Party

Create a sculpture of your choice using colored "Sculpey" clay. Maybe even model magic. Your instructor will show you a variety of clay building techniques and possible color combinations to create a whimsical sculpture. Your experience will be truly "hands on."

Details and Deposit
- A 10 person minimum is required to book all parties.
- Party packages include 2 hours in the party room. You will be provided a party host to teach and to help the children during the party. If the kids attending are under six, you may want to ask parents or family members to stay and lend a hand. One adult to five children is usually a good balance.
- Please call us the day before your party with the exact number of children attending, so we can have the party set up when you arrive.
- Pizza is available upon request at an additional cost. Complimentary water is provided with your pizza order. You bring the cake - we will supply all the paper goods (plain white).
- Invitations and party goods are provided by Around the Corner Art Center
- A non-refundable $50.00 deposit is required for each party. No cancellations. Any cancelled parties will be charged $250. You are welcome to reschedule your party without any fees.
- Total number of painters must be confirmed 48 hours prior to your event. Please keep in mind this is the minimum you will be charged.
