Class Descriptions
We offer classes for all ages in both Freehold and Morganville. Pricing indicates the cost of one 8-week class session. In addition to these classes, we also offer walk-in painting, parties, art camps, as well as, monthly events for kids or canvas & cocktails for adults.
Kids Ages 5 - 7Kid's Art | $215
In this class, your child will be introduced to basic art techniques, which are the building blocks that will provide a solid foundation for future art lovers and artists. Children will explore the great world are art using oil pastels, clay, paper and paint. This unique learning experience places an emphasis on having fun while exploring creativity! Children Ages 8-12Multi-Media Art | $245-$250 (Age Dependent)
Children will explore the world of both two and three dimensional media, such as pencil, colored pencil, acrylic paint and clay. Students will learn by following the teacher in a step-by-step method that allows the child to see projects take shape from beginning to end. Children's Painting | $245 All students in this class will develop a further understanding of painting and drawing techniques needed to create masterpieces. Each session focuses on a specific artist or style. Children will learn by watching demonstrations by their educated and talented instructor, and then applying these techniques learned to creating their masterpieces. Painting & Drawing | $245 This class is perfect for children who want to learn how to paint & draw! During the session, your child will create at least one drawing and a painting on canvas. The children will learn with step-by-step instruction how to draw, mid colors and apply brushstrokes to create their masterpieces. Each session will have a different theme, usually inspired by a famous artist or style. Clay & Ceramics with Pottery Wheel | $245 In this class, children are all welcome to learn and create amazing ceramics of their own. This class will incorporate both the pottery wheel and traditional clay building techniques to create a variety of pieces with guidance from the instructor, a pottery expert. Design, Sew & Create | $260 In this classes beginner and intermediate students are welcome. All students will create at least one garment during the class session, while becoming masters of the crafts of hand sewing, pattern cutting, machine sewing and more! Drawing, Cartooning, Superheroes (Ages 8+) | $245 During each 8-week session, students in this class will learn valuable skills, such as, drawing human anatomy and musculature, that will help them to create superheroes and cartoons of their own. Children will complete multiple completed drawings using colored pencils, markers and graphite. Manga & Anime (Ages 9+) | $245 In this class, students will learn how to draw characters from their favorite anime series or manga. With the help of their instructor, all will learn about different facial expressions, poses and hairstyles to create characters they know, or have imagined themselves. Comic Book & Anime Art (Ages 10+) | $245 In this class, students will learn how to draw characters from their favorite anime series or manga, as well as from comic books! With the help of their instructor, all will learn about different facial expressions, poses and hairstyles to create characters they know, or have imagined themselves. Teens Ages 13-18Teen Art (painting and drawing) | $250
Students will be taught in a workshop format that is based on assignments from the instructor. This class will help teens discover their creativity, individuality and unique style. Students will begin to work toward building an original body of work that can be used as a portfolio that will include paintings, drawings and mixed media art. Teen Drawing & Digital Art | $245 In this "open-studio" style drawing class, teens may create artwork from their own inspirations. The instructor will guide students to reaching their greatest potential and making works of art to be proud of using a variety of techniques and media. Adults Ages 18+Painting for Adults | $229
This is an "open-studio" class for adults to paint any work of art they want! Beginners welcome! The instructor will give each student individual instructions for each step in the process, all while learning in an environment of artists like them. Open Studio Drawing & Painting for Adults | $229 In this "open-studio" class for adults, all will learn draw/paint any work of art they want! Beginners welcome! The instructor will guide each student along each step in the process to create their own artwork in pastel, paint, watercolor, pencil, charcoal, colored pencil or other medium. |
