In every class, our instructors will guide students step-by-step into creating their own masterpieces! Follow along with how we made this cute little sloth last weekend! Kid's Art is for ages 5-8... the little ones have a such a fun time making their own artwork!

We started by drawing an outline...Once that was done, the leaves and tree were colored with green crayon.
The background is made using watercolor oil pastels, so kid's get to color, and then use their *magic* to turn their backgrounds into paint!

We move from background to foreground...starting with the far away legs painted brown with acrylic. For the rest of the sloth, we used brown and white to add texture and a lighter color too! Notice how the strokes all follow the direction of the fur!
(Finally...we add black paint with a tiny (really tiny) brush to give those few final details!
